Paintings on canvas: in either oils or acrylics as indicated are all executed with Artists quality paints and canvasses. Square ones are generally 36mm deep and the edges are painted white. These are often hung unframed.
The rectangular canvases are generally 20mm deep and their edges are also painted white. These can also be hung unframed, however, many people do prefer to have them framed after purchase. NB: all painting sizes are approximate and cannot be guaranteed to fit pre-made frames.
Paintings on board: these are in either oil, oil with cold wax or acrylic, as indicated. The boards are 'cradled' (ie with a wooden frame fixed to the back of the board to prevent warping) and prepared with a gesso primer unless stated otherwise. The edges are painted white and some have frames as individually indicated.
